The European Heat Pump Association represents the interests of the European heat pump industry on international level.
Heat pumps are an unique renewable technology for heating and cooling. They can make a major contribution towards achieving Europe's climate and energy challenges. - CASE STUDY: A 16 kW air source heat pump was installed in a well insulated crèche with under floor heating on the east coast of Ireland, having a floor area of appr. 400 m2. It supplies the building's total space heat and hot water requirements. A study carried by the Centre for Renewable Energy at Dundalk Institute of Technology (CREDIT) monitors the performance of this heat pump system.
